Concealed Handgun Permits  

The Clerk of Court and his staff are required to follow strict state guidelines when performing the necessary background checks for Concealed Handgun Permits. Due to the nature of the detailed due diligence, appointment times and processing times can take multiple weeks. 

Completed applications for RESIDENT permits shall be submitted to the circuit court of the county or city in which the applicant resides.  

Pricing

• A New Concealed Handgun Permit costs $40.00 for RESIDENTS.
• A Renewal Concealed Handgun Permit costs $40.00 for RESIDENTS.
• A Replacement Concealed Handgun Permit costs $5.00 or $10 depending on the reason for replacement
• Applications will be processed between 8:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday.
